My name is Taylor Rockwell, and on today's episode, we're talking about a few moments from the MLS weekend that was, but the majority of the show will be spent building some rosters, some USM&T rosters specifically. The U.S. will play Jamaica in the Concaf Nations League semifinal on March 21st in Texas. If they win, they advance to the final on March 24th, where they will play the winner of Panama and Mexico. There's also a third place game, but we don't need to talk about that now or hopefully ever. Here with me, to make some tough choices, our two friends up first, the man who isn't at all worried about Matt Turner's lack of minutes, and that might actually be true. It's Joe Lowry, hi, Joe. I'm just not even worried about Matt Turner right now, Taylor, because I'm just thinking back to the moment where Serginio Dest went absolutely berserk in Port of Spain, which means he misses the first game of the March window. Serginio Des, that was an all-time meltdown and I can't get it out of my head.

I did not have that in my notes. That does change the calculations a little bit. Oh boy. With us today, making his triumphant return is a fellow who is still waiting to see if he'll be one of the overage selections for the U.S. Olympic team. It's David Goss. David, how are you feeling about that?

I feel like I'm a decent locker room guy that i that i would actually fit for me because like the u23s are so talented that they may

not need overage talent to win but you need someone to like just keep you know all the gears watered or

oiled or whatever the term we're going to use here. I love watering my gears, which I think makes things worse rather than the opposite. Between that and the way you tentatively said, I'm a good locker room guy. I'm not sure, gosh, you're not really selling your argument. Well, it was, you know, classic job interview. I didn't know if I wanted to lead

with my strengths or my weaknesses. You give this guy a week and a half in the Maldives and he comes back

watering gears. I've been speaking in German for the two weeks. Everyone around me was German all

the time. Huh? In the Maldives? All right. I've got more questions about that, but I have even bigger

looming questions about the upcoming roster. We don't know when it's going to drop. We have the 60

player provisional list. There are many names on it. It's worth noting with the Olympics this

summer, there will be a U-23 team heading to France, I believe. They're going to play friendly

against the France. U23 is on

March 25th. So we won't be getting this sort of combined camp that we've gotten at various

points in the past. It seems like we will just get an out and out 23 player roster, maybe a few

additions in there that won't play but might train or get some experience. But for the most part, it's going to be a standard 23 player roster. Joe, is that about what you have? Is that what you're thinking? Yeah, absolutely. There could be, especially because of injuries and Tyler Adams is sort of the big one here, given that Greg Berlter said, you know, maybe he could come over and not play and just train. He's the one that sort of could change some of the calculations here.
