This is Marianne Sullivan.

And this week we are welcoming Sue Spar, who is a truly outstanding activist right across the lake over here in Toronto,

who will be telling us about what it's like

to actually have that thing that we all dream about,

a physical space where activists can find each other

and learn to be better at what they do.

I am so excited that this place is so close,

but even more so than that, she wants it to be replicable.

Yeah, no, that's her big goal, yeah, that everyone should have such a space. I totally agree.

So for anyone listening to this, you might come out of this with an idea to actually make that dream

come true. You know, I love about it. It's like, you know, so many times, if you interview organizations, they have the things that they're doing and they want people to come help them, which is great. I mean, that is certainly not a bad thing. But this is so different. This is like, all right, let's like set up a place where we have a lot of tools and people can do what they think is the right thing to do.

And like to enable grassroots activism like that, I think is so powerful.

Absolutely.

It's so good for animals, but it's also so good for people.

Also, Sue is friggin' awesome.

Yeah, she was dynamic.

She really was a cool person and I mean she still is like
