When I think of the four pentacles, the first thing I think is that you're in the presence of

the little king who has lost everything. Stay tuned to find out if it's worth trying to hold

on to what he's got left or if he and you should just let it ride.

Greetings listeners, so let's dive right in. The four pentacles is about creating stability.

Traditionally, it's about creating economic stability, but since it's a pentacles card,

it might also relate to physical security, health, home or anything that nourishes and sustains

us. But here's the thing, if economic security is something that most of us long to have and in fact

spend our lives working for, then why does the four of pentacles seem like such a crabby,

unfortunate card? That's my question. In this card, spirit is coming to us like a close friend.

They put their hands on our shoulders. They look us in the eye and they quietly ask,

is what you're doing right now, getting you what you want?

In the right-of-way Coleman Smith version of the card, we see a masculine figure, a little king,

an opulent red robes and her mind first sitting on a concrete throne with the city behind him.

And he's grasping a large, heavy gold coin to his chest. He's clinging to it.

He's got a coin beneath his left foot and he's got another coin beneath his right.

And he's bouncing another large coin on his crown. If we were his friend,

we might go up to him and put our hands on his shoulders and gently say,
