Like, you just wear, bend your knees, push your side to side, push your hand like this. I'm sicker than my sick and So there a different amount of sodium intake that is recommended for people with high blood pressure.

Currently the recommendation is to decrease salt intake and therefore sodium

intake for folks who have diagnosed hypertension especially if they're on medication.

That being said, it would be irresponsible of me to suggest that folks with hypertension

take in more sodium, despite what Stan Effordine will tell you.

The idea is that we have good data that if you reduce your sodium intake and you have high

blood pressure, that your blood pressure goes

down a little bit. Just like we have good evidence that if you increase foods that have

potassium in them, fruits and vegetables in particular and you have high blood pressure

that your blood pressure improves. I don't think people can take potassium supplements, right?

And I don't think that people who don't have high blood pressure necessarily need to worry about

the sodium intake, but given the high prevalence of people with high blood pressure and that the fact that half of the folks who do have high blood pressure don't have it treated to goal, it seems it would be irresponsible to me to say, it say salt doesn't matter because I think it does matter a little
