let's start to show by first discussing an event that is affecting all of us here in the states and all over the world,

the coronavirus, or more medically speaking, COVID-19. Most of what we are mainly getting here in the

States is hype. Our three local network affiliates to ABC, CBS, and NBC have lost virtually all

sense of a responsible journalistic reporting. As an example, out of a 30-minute newscast airing news, weather, and sports,

with 15 minutes dedicated to news, all 15 minutes is, yep, you guessed it, about the virus.

It's beyond ridiculous.

It's panic-driven reporting that has lit a fire under people, pushing some of

them to raid the grocery stores as if an apocalyptic event has taken place. It has not.

Recently, while the lady and I was shopping at a local Walmart, she witnessed a fellow in the

store wearing a tear gas combat-type mask, with his hood pulled up and the added accessory of one glove.

Store security definitely had their eye on him.

Stories are even having to be circulated to warn people not to drink bleach to avoid getting the virus.

as a cleaner disinfectant, which of course it is. My point here is that while none of us want to get it,

especially those that are elderly and those with compromised immune systems, there is a sane way to respond to all this.
