And filling in for Rick Beasley, I am Kim Meneer, but most of you know me as Kim Acevedo.

Rick's not joining us tonight just for self-quarantine reasons, and myself and Kim here, we work together in close proximity pretty much every day so you know

and our estimates if we have this virus thing's going around we both probably have it by now

just like everybody else up there at work yeah no doubt so oh we got a few calls tonight

that we're going to look into so the new voice on the show for tonight is Kim.

So Kim, can you tell us a little bit about yourself, your background, you know, things like that?

Well, I am a veteran employee of the Nashville Emergency Communication Center of I just had my 15

year anniversary actually last month.

So March?

March 19th.

Okay.

Marked 15 years for me. I'm a trainer. I'm also on

the first team. So I dabble in a little bit of everything over there. So there's a lot of people out here

that they're listening maybe in a different agency or just a, you know, general citizen that's not

in the police or not in one field. What is the first team?

What do you do with that?

First team is kind of a specialized tactical dispatch team.

We do a lot of on-site dispatch for, well, not on-site so much anymore, but we can go in the field to do Titans games or Predators games or unplanned things as well.

We assisted with a tornado that we just had.

We worked a lot in the Emergency Operations Center assisting with that.

And we do just a little bit of everything.
