Hi, welcome back. This is Let It Out. I'm Katie, your host. We took a couple weeks off. We re-aired some episodes from the archive and not even that deep into the archive, some favorites from the last year. So I hope you listened to those and went back in time with me. Or, you know,

you still can if you want to, no pressure. This week is a new episode. I just recorded with two members of the Austin-based

band, The Deer, Grace Park, and Jesse Dalton. I loved talking to them so much. We recorded this

in the evening the other night, and it was just a really gentle, sweet conversation, and I'm so happy that I got to meet them and

got to know their music. So after each episode, I have the guest recommend a future guest.

I say, like, who's the next person I should talk to? And when I asked Buck Meek, who was on the podcast a couple months ago,

Buck is a member of Big Thief, he recommended his fellow Texan musicians, The Deer. And I'm so glad

he did because I've loved listening to their music and learning more about them while I prepared for this episode.

And above all, I really love talking to Grace and Jesse.
