It was a very difficult book. It took me eight years to write it. Every now and again, I couldn't face it anymore. I just put it aside.

It took this kind of idea of if there was a global woman where in her life cycle, would violence occur?

It became evident it would occur all the way through. Starting in the womb, a sex-select selective abortion, all of the other ones, female,

genital mutilation, child brides, which is child abuse, honor killings, and you go around a whole

circle. And then in the end, giving my explanation as to why Christianity really opens up the

door to recognizing this is an issue and challenges us to do something about it.
