When they asked me how was your trip, I said, well, it was amazing. We saw a blind lady healed. We saw

somebody who couldn't walk, run up a hill. And I said, so it's an amazing trip. And I just left it

hanging like that in this finance committee. It felt a long time they were silenced for. And then

Mohammed, who was this counsellor on the local

council, turned to me and he said, I've had a pain in my leg for three years that the NHS

don't know what it is, don't know how to solve it. He puts his hand on me, he says, I want to be

well, John. And so I say, great, Mohammed, I'd love to talk with you and pray with you afterwards. But he had to leave early. Two days later, he rings me up. He says, John, we've got to meet. He says, since I touched you, I've had no pain. Wow. Beautiful. Welcome, everybody. This is Simon Gilbo with Inspired.

injure anxiety. So we just want to counter out that completely. And there's so much good

stuff going on around the world and around the country. This week we're going to be looking

more UK-specific. And I'm really thrilled to have with us, my good friend, John McGinley. Welcome, John. Thank you so much, Simon. Great to be

with you. So good to have you. So I think we go back about 10 years through new wine stuff.

You were on the leadership team there. You now are a trustee. But now you are heading up a myriad,

which is like this innovative out-the-box church planting network. You're part of the Gregory Center for Church Multiplication. You were the head pastor at Holy Trinity, Lester, which I came and did your weekend away, didn't I, actually just when you'd handed on to the wonderful Elaine Sutherland. So plenty of links in the mix. But, John, I don't know much about your background. I do know that you were a vicar's kid. My wife Lizzie was a vicar's daughter. She hated being introduced on arriving at her new school as the vicar's daughter. It was a label from the get-go. Was that bad for you? How was it? Yeah, it was. There was a real sense of trying to avoid any connection with that at all and just recognizing how that

was perceived by my mates.

And so that was definitely a challenge for me as I grew up and growing up in that home, but

really wrestling with this sense of, okay, who am I and rebel quite strongly between

11 and 15 from that. When I went to secondary school,
