Summary

Episode 76: Hey guys!! It’s just you and me today. My goal with this episode is to help reframe your mindset when approaching your health. I think so often we reach for quick fixes instead of incorporating habits that will give us long term results. So today, we’re going through the blueprint to building your “dream house” aka your “dream body.” When my health was suffering, these types of mindset shifts are what helped me stay focused on how I wanted to FEEL instead of getting distracted by fads that wouldn’t have any long term benefits. The whole idea is to create a home that is custom to you, built on a strong foundation, that you’re happy to live in!! I hope you live this episode and it inspires you to build your dream home! As always, thank you for listening. xo

trends for short-term results.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Wellness Our Way. It's just going to be us today. I was on my walk earlier this morning. And I was just planning out some community events that I want to do throughout the rest of the year. And I was like, I cannot believe that we're already a quarter of the way through 2025. Like how is this year already going so fast? But I feel like

0:56.2

it's kind of that time where, you know, like if you set New Year's goals or you had intentions,

1:01.4

sometimes like, you know, life or stress can kind of get in the way. And we might need a little bit

1:06.0

more motivation or kind of a different way to view things. I always am the most creative or just like, I don't know,

1:13.7

the best ideas come to me when I'm walking. And I always try to think about like, what are the things

1:18.9

that would have helped me when, one, I didn't know how to stay consistent or when it was really

1:23.3

difficult to stay consistent or when I needed like, I don't know, like a little push to like

1:28.0

keep going. And I was thinking about the analogy of when you build a dream house, it's kind of the

1:35.8

same way that you build a dream body. And when I say build a dream body, I don't mean this

1:40.9

image of what you may want to look like. Of course, if the aesthetics are part of your

1:44.7

goal, then that's for you to decide. But what I mean is sculpting the strongest version of yourself.

1:51.5

And what I like about this analogy, like building our dream home, is that our body is our home

1:57.4

that goes with us everywhere. It's also a home that only you get to live in. And I think

2:02.6

the beauty in this is that you get to create and build the space that feels like a sanctuary to you,

2:09.1

that you feel empowered and excited to live in every single day. So this episode's going to be all
