It's good to be with you again and I'm glad we're talking about this because I'm a little bit challenged with my Kafa constitution and a little bit of needing to clear my lungs and so as we're recording this episode I'm drinking my ginger tea and doing what I know to do to clear my lungs but there's so much more and we begin with breathing don't we? We certainly do yeah and as we've discussed in a

recent episode when we're anxious about our health it's really helpful to go to a

proactive place and look up what can I do to feel more calm, to feel more present and at peace in my body and to look after my health, look after my respiratory health, look after my lungs,

and those together really brings the anxiety down

and helps us get through our day, just feeling more peaceful

and more assertive about our self-care.

So yeah, it definitely starts with breathing and

Iravada, India's ancient science of life and living a healthy good life,

recommends special breathing practices known as pranaeum which means to

control or direct the breath and those practices are recommended for health and peace of mind together So that's what we're talking about today,

getting the peace of mind and the health caring together. And one popular practice is called

alternate nostril breathing or Nadi Shodana and Shan you recorded a beautiful guided practice of that particular breathing exercise
