I bet it has to do with living more intentionally so you can reduce stress so you can sleep better and feel happier and get more done in your life.

In today's episode I'm going to share with you a breathing technique. A breathing technique is such a fast and effective way to instantly calm your mind and body.

And a lot of times when you're at a point where you want to do the right thing in your life but you're afraid or you're angry and so you have this urge to react.

Or maybe you have a lot of self-doubt whatever may be holding you back when you tune into your breath you can instantly calm your emotional state.

There's been a lot of research on the impact of your breath. Your breath is interconnected with your emotional state.

So get ready to tune into the power and the peace of your breath. This tool that's always with you.

So as you settle yourself down and make yourself comfortable as you meditate I invite you for a moment to pause and look around your meditation space.

Whatever you might be right now and think about if where you are inspires you.

What could you do to enhance the space where you meditate? Maybe you don't have a dedicated meditation space and that is fine.

For years I meditated on the go especially when I had young children and it was really difficult for me to find a long time.

I meditated whenever I had a break wherever I happened to be.

I do encourage you to create a place that is dedicated to your self-care, to your unfolding, to your enlightenment as you create a meditation ritual.

Even if you don't spend a lot of time there when you pass this space it will represent the best of who you are and that is a way for you to carry your meditation space with you wherever you go.

So glance around your space and think of how you can make it more inspirational for your sacred ritual.

And as you're seated begin to close your eyes and gently uplift them tuning into how your body feels.

You might even move around a little shifting to get just that right comfortable position.

Straighten up your spine and observe your breath, the rhythm and flow of your breath.

Think about your emotional state today and notice how your breath reflects your emotional state.
