0:14.5	Guys it has been so long since I last recorded an episode and for any of you that that may enjoy this podcast
0:21.6	I'm so sorry. Honestly, I'm super bummed out because I really love getting to record these and and getting to share all the
0:29.0	details that go into my songs. It means it means a lot to me. I was doing the dishes last night and listening to another podcast
0:36.9	And I thought I just really missed talking to you guys and then I realized something that when I'm not making things I make monsters
0:45.5	And what I mean by that is that the more time that goes by between when I make things the scarier and harder it becomes to return
0:54.1	And I've definitely made a monster here with waiting so long between episodes
0:58.3	And honestly, this is a lesson I have learned for years and years and years now and somehow I still completely fall for it every time
1:07.5	A long time ago I was putting out one album every three years and when I tried to return to write the next thing
1:13.6	After so much time behind me I find myself completely terrified
1:17.7	And just honestly not convinced that I knew how to write a song and so my fight against that pattern of monster making was a project of mine called Yearbook
1:26.8	And that project was where I committed to writing three new songs every month for a year
1:32.8	And the hope there was that there would be no time to make those monsters during that project when I was writing all the time

1:41.3	So I decided to continue writing music in that fashion long form projects constantly working on new songs new things

1:50.9	So that's kind of been my battle strategy against the monsters of creativity since since Yearbook and that was

1:59.5	And side note I can't believe that was a decade ago. That's super depressing
2:04.9	But I've very clearly made a monster here out of out of this podcast by waiting so long in between episodes
