Welcome to a live breaking news event here at Surviving the Survivor.

It is a podcast that promises to bring you the very best guests

in all of true crime and sometimes some of the sort of best breaking news possible.

As most of you know, I flew up to Philadelphia yesterday and after a 14-year wait, the plaintiffs here were Sandy and Josh Greenberg and their attorney, Joe Pedraza.

As you know, the defendants, they were suing three defendants within the city of Philadelphia.

Dr. Marlon Osborne had his own private attorney, the two other people in the suit, who are Dr. Sam Galino, once the chief medical examiner and a detective named John McNamee.

They're being represented by attorneys from the city of Philadelphia

in this case. And the headline coming out of this, after 14 years, there was a deal made,

a deal made, which means a few things that we're going to get into.

There's a lot of news here to kind of break down and parse out.

I spoke to the attorneys and spoke to Tom Brennan,

who is the private investigator hired on behalf

of the Greenberg family.

He's actually doing a pro bono.

He is perhaps the happiest of all.
