Maybe corporation every company every product every athlete every celebrity every politician every, everything is a brand.

The brand is a set of values.

We do two things on the show.

First, we do a big interview with somebody

about their own personal brand,

and that drops on Thursdays.

MS NBC and a stalwart of Morning Joe he's got a lot to talk about his book the

big lie and a bunch of other things and on Tuesdays which is today we do what we call our brands of the

week these are the brand shaping the zeitgeist who's up who's down what's going

on let's get right into it first up brand Down for the Oscars.

The Oscars were Sunday night, and everybody said they were fine.

But the thing that people are forgetting,

you had 10 movies at there.

And the one everywhere, everyone knows, whatever that name of that movie one the list of

movies you probably haven't heard a half of them I just want to go back to the years

1975 1976 and 1977 and tell you the five movies that were nominated each of those years.

75 was One Flew River the Cuckoo's Nest, Jaws, Nashville, Dog Day afternoon.

Next year was Chinatown, Godfather 2,

Towering Inferno, the conversation in Lenny.
