Now, of course, the big news in the NFL on Monday was about a different Garrett.

Superstar Pass Rusher Miles Garrett, it was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams.

But there's a very important player for the Jets named Garrett, and that is Garrett Wilson.

He's coming off the least productive season of his career.

And the reason it was unproductive, well, it wasn't really his fault. He was injured. In fact,

he only played seven games for the Jets because of a couple of different injuries. By the end of

the 2025 season, the Jets had shut him down. But it kind of flew under the radar. Garrett was actually

having a pretty good season. In fact,

even with the Jets passing offense in the state it was in, with Justin Fields struggling so much

at the quarterback position, Garrett Wilson, at the point the Jets lost to the Denver Broncos,

which is where he suffered the initial injury, was on pace for 1,100 yards.

And I feel like there's something about Garrett Wilson that doesn't get appreciated.

It's the production he's had with, let's be honest, subpar quarterbacks.
