Three minutes after ten is the time. A very good morning indeed to you. As things stand, we are intending this morning and in the first hour of this afternoon to look at David Cameron's claim that he should have gone harder

and faster on so-called austerity. A policy recently described by the great Alexi

sale is the idea that the international banking crisis of 2008 was due to there being too many

libraries in Wolverhampton. I should warn you now, you're going to hear me repeating that gag a lot

because I think it's brilliant.

However, I do think David Cameron is in danger of demonstrating a degree of callousness there that we didn't necessarily associate with him when he was Prime Minister.

So your stories about how it affected you, perhaps, later in the program.

There's a tale that I approach with a very cautious air

because it really is one of those Pandora's boxes of conversations.

But parents, it's reported today, are going to keep their baby's sex a secret

to avoid gender bias.

And yet again, I find myself approaching these very modern issues with a curious mixture of befuddlement and, well, mild disapproval.

But I think it's important to get those in order.

I suspect that my mild disapproval is born of my befuddlement.

But perhaps it isn't.

And hopefully we could have a conversation about that without being accused of all manner of transgressions by all manner of different people.

It's not even a trans story, is it?

But it is about the modern relationship with sex and gender that seems to be increasingly controversial or problematical.
