Good morning, welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk of Radio. The sun is still over the yard arm and the bank holiday feel-good factor is very much still in the ascendance.

and the phenomenon that is Boris Johnson. Never before has there been a Conservative Prime Minister, in my view,

so seemingly unassailable, being called unfit for office, having a health secretary who is supposedly

a congenital liar, having a former top lieutenant betray him and throw him under a bus,

and even managing to get a private wedding party organised

in the midst of a lockdown, none of it seemingly touches him.

None of it breaches the wall of success that keeps the opposition at bay.

I mean, it doesn't do any harm, of course, that Sir Kier Stama is completely and utterly useless.
