Yeah, bank holiday, I'm still here why would

you expect me not to be because I work on bank holidays what's the problem so we're all so

much happier today aren't we the sun is shining well nearly it's just beginning to

raise the gloom above the mist out there it was a bit cold this morning but it's

going to be lovely it's going to be beautiful so go out there and enjoy it for heaven's

sake why not indeed?

The roads, however, are chock-a-block.

The trains aren't running properly.

It must be.

Of course it must be a bank holiday weekend, but as you might expect,

I don't believe in taking back holidays off, after all.

I don't actually work in a bank.

But there is something also determining our mood, isn't there? We've got joy

abundant and we've got all sorts of things to look forward to. Why? It is the fact that

Boris Johnson has finally made Carrie Angelette and honest woman the amount of vitriol

and alternatively treacle that this has generated over the weekend is quite extraordinary. Now

let me explain something to you. You know, I have no problem with Boris Johnson getting married. I don't care how many times he gets married. I don't care how many

children he's got. I don't care how many ex-wives he's got. I don't care how much money he's got in the

bank. I'd rather he didn't have to borrow money in order to support his own lifestyle while he

makes not only 150,000 pounds a year, but also has a very, very nice expense account, which pays for
