Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio,

the place where most of you won't have to be told what to do by us.

We won't tell you how many people to mix with.

We will not tell you you shouldn't have any parties.

And most importantly of all, we will not tell you that the rules only apply to you and of course not to us.

That's right, we are the world headquarters of common sense, unlike Downey Street,

which appears to be once more angrily for the title of of worst run government in the history of Britain.

This morning we are greeted with yet more headlines and details of yet another lockdown party at number 10, while we are all told not to mix with more than one person outside at any

given time. Over in the seat of government, however, it was okay in May 2020 for the Prime

Minister's Principal Private Secretary to send out invitations to over

100 people telling him to bring their own booze to a shindig in the garden complete with an

informal buffet. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm not sure what the difference is between an

informal buffet and a formal buffet is. We'll be asking some experts to find out. But also, by the way,

apparently this

guy Reynolds, who's the principal private secretary, is facing pressure to resign. Well, how about

the boss? Why is Boris Johnson not facing pressure to resign? I think the point is he is facing

pressure to resign. Perhaps the most ridiculous aspect of all of this is the fact that Boris

Johnson isn't sure whether he was there or not.

He's waiting for the investigation into parties at Downing Street to tell him.

Hmm? Yeah. I can't remember what I did last May or the May before.
