Hey guys, welcome to this is Joy and Claire. We have a bonus episode for you with Sandy Shepard,

aka Mom Sandy, and Will Lanier, the founder of Outwad, an overall great, great friend of ours.

We wanted to create a few bonus episodes for you for the end of this year with everything

going on and we just like making content for you guys.

So we asked Will to do a bonus episode for us and he was like, you know, I'm not really sure

what I could talk about for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, because we wanted to do it with just his voice.

And so what he ended up doing is he did some voice memos for us, kind of like audio diary entries. And we loved the

idea. And so we went with that. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to play those voice memos for you

first. So you know what the context is for this episode. So you got to hang in there with this one,

because there's a lot to it. And then we discuss the topics

after the voice memos with Mom Sandy, Will, and myself. Claire couldn't make it because it was

Miles birthday. Happy fifth birthday to Miles. We really wanted to get this episode out sooner rather than

later just because we have an election coming up very soon. And we talk a lot about

what's going on and we wanted to keep it current. This episode is definitely candid and opinionated.

We're all very good friends having a conversation together. So sometimes I think we forget that we're

being recorded. But we're all really passionate about the issues going on currently. And Claire and I

will always say, speak up about the things you on currently. And Claire and I will always say,

speak up about the things you're passionate about. We do not have to agree, but just be passionate

and work towards a greater good. This is a Zoom call, so please give some grace on the phone call
