Welcome to Walking is Fitness. Hi, I'm Dave. It is a bonus walk, which is happening on a paved trail that runs alongside a lake, which is behind our community.

Got some ducks on the lake and I've also got some geese just up ahead that are not in the lake but are on the

grassy knoll that I'll be walking beside in just a moment and if you heard yesterday's episode

There was an encounter with a snake and that happened just little, little ways up from where I am now.

So got my eye out for that.

But here's what I want to do.

So a week ago, I invited you to take part in a survey about this podcast.

I want to learn a little bit more about you,

how you use the podcast,

ultimately so I can make the podcast better for you.

And during today's bonus walk,

I want to give you some preliminary results.

And if you have not yet participated,

extend the invitation again for you to take part. It's a brief survey, 12 questions.

I'm going to tell you how long, on average, it's taking people to complete the survey and I'm also going to share with

you a surprise the first question is how long have you been listening to

walking as fitness and there are four options six percent brand new listeners started listening in the last month.

Ten percent started listening at some point this year in 2025. 50 percent started listening

at some point last year and 24% began listening in 2023 or or even earlier than

that so long time listeners question number two is how often do you listen 40% said they listen

every day 36% said a few times a week 24% say they listen 36% said a few times a week.

24% say they listen a few times a month.
