Hey there, Improvice Star Trek listeners. This is Chris Rathchen. Just this week, we released the episode, Naked Time and a Half, which features Eli Mandel as acting Dr. Rip Stippley. Some of you may recall Rip Stipley from his first episode, Amnesia, which he was a no-good marquee with

ill intentions towards the crew. Eli now joins us as a permanent cast member.

We've put together a quick bonus scene for you to bring you up to speed of his

arrival on the Sisyphist. You will hear mention of Zarlene Zonelzen being away.

Don't worry, despite any implications given in this episode,

she will be returning. But for the near future, Rip Stipley will be the Sisyphys medical expert.

You've been listening for a while, you know that there's a bit of a delay between when we

record an episode and when we bring them out. So I can tell you with confidence that we've been

working with Eli for a while now, and he's a great addition to the cast, and we are excited to have him

on board. Aside from that, we've got just two bits of news for you this week. The first is that we'll

be appearing on stage 773 in Chicago in August as part of their nerd comedy festival. Keep an eye on our website for details.

The other thing we wanted to mention

is that this weekend we attended the podcast Midwest Festival in Chicago

and got to meet some great folks behind the Nerdette podcast and Pleasuretown podcast,

both of which we can highly recommend checking out if you haven't already.
