We know that everyone's traveling, which means it's a great time to binge on podcasts and recommend your favorite to families and friends.

I'm here with Holden from Wizard in the Bruiser.

Hey, what's happening, Dave? How are you?

I'm doing pretty good. Is it time for podcast season for everybody?

I'll tell you what, I'm home, I'm trapped in the house with family. I need an escape and what better way to do that than binge on a bunch of podcasts and find some new stuff too while we're at it.

One of the nude podcasts I found was actually your podcast, which it's a perfect for me. I'm a pop culture obsessive and you guys cover amazing pop culture topics in great detail.

Specifically recently I was listening to the Calvin and Hobbs episode and not only do you guys have your personal experiences in there, which I think is important to everybody.

You know, live through the era of actually clipping out Calvin and Hobbs from newsprint.

But you guys do a really good job of contextualizing it within the greater how Bill Watterson not only changed Sunday comic strips, but you know his approach to marketing or in this case not marketing his characters and how that changes how we perceive them and maybe the purity.

The Calvin and Hobbs still have when you know some other intellectual properties have been diluted a little bit.

Hey, thanks so much. Yeah, I feel like we really try to kind of hit that nostalgia tickle that nostalgia funny bone while also reaching deep and trying to find some actual something to teach our listeners.

So yeah, I really appreciate that you got that much out of it. Well, I've been enjoying the hell out of you guys's podcast storm spoilers is fantastic.

I really just kind of binge recently, but I really enjoyed the season seven wrap up. I think that's a great place to start for people just trying to jump in because you guys really kind of go back and give a nice overview on the season and give some really good insights.

And also your off season stuff like the Blade Runner 2049 podcast when you guys do other topics from pop culture as we are both obviously really into that sort of thing.

I really enjoyed your retrospective. Yeah, both things.

I think if people enjoy both of our podcasts, there's definitely some overlap. I was just scrolling through we both did preacher.

We did it more as like an episodic TV series take and you guys of course did your full context thing where you get the whole background on the on the book and then go over to you guys's podcast and get an overview more on the current television show.

The running that is pretty pretty great for sure and my co host Joanna Robinson is going to love your Neil game in podcasts because she had to split off and do American gods by herself because that's how into it.

She was this year. And so definitely that's going to be support there. But I guess if my listeners storm spoilers want to easily crossover.

You guys also have a game of Thrones episode with Tim landing and Jennifer cheek cast of Thrones.

They're fantastic. The smooth entry point for people who are just into HBO.
