All right, you're about to hear an episode of follower of one from my friend's Mike Henry with follower of one, and today's passage is a

passage that I picked up out of my daily reading.

And it brings to mind this question of can our

faith be seen. The passage is Mark 2, verse 5 and Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic

son your sins are forgiven if you are familiar with this, that's from the New American standard.

If you're familiar with this passage, some people are lowering a man through the roof of this house

so that Jesus would heal him.

They couldn't get close enough to the door.

They couldn't get anyone's attention.

They couldn't get through the crowd.

I've recently watched the streaming video series The Chosen and there's an episode

I forget which episode it is maybe episode six where they depict this whole

example of this story in the video and it's awful believable how they do it. It was interesting to see

get a perspective on how it could have happened. But Jesus does a couple of things here.
