Welcome to gender reveal, a podcast where we hopefully get a little bit closer about understanding what the hell gender is.

0:21.5

I'm your host and resident gender detective, Tuckletstock.

0:33.3

Hey, everyone.

0:34.6

Hope you've all been hanging in there.

0:36.4

At this point, I'm sure you know all about

0:38.3

gender conceal, our monthly bonus podcast for the beautiful patrons who keep me in Ozzie

0:42.1

employed. Well, last month on gender conceal, I was lucky enough to chat with filmmaker

1:26.3

seven to 15, something like that.

1:28.7

And Carla is not only the subject of the documentary.

1:31.1

She is also very involved in the making of the film itself, as you'll hear Connie and I talk about in this interview.

1:37.4

One example of this is that there is a sort of meta-textual voiceover narration throughout the film that is a conversation between Connie

1:46.4

and Carla about how the film should be made. So you'll hear Connie asking Carla things like,

1:50.6

what scene should we go to next? And how should we end the film? I thought this was a very

1:54.7

fun conceit for the movie and it really emphasized how much of a collaboration the film was
