So we're going to be talking with Christopher about the first three episodes of Dirty John.

So for anybody who doesn't know, Chris, can you tell us what is this Dirty John project?

Dirty John is a six-part podcast that's going to be released simultaneously or has been released at this point.

Simultaneously with six-part series in print and on the Los Angeles Times website, it's the first time the newspaper has teamed up with Wondery to do this.

And what about this particular story did you think would be a good candidate for something like this a multi-platform release?

It's a story with a large cast of interesting characters. There's a lot of psychological complexity.

There is a twisted tale of deception and self-deception and a lot of surprised twists, particularly grizzly ending.
