Hello young chefs, and welcome back to Mystery Recipe.

I'm Molly Burnbound, Editor-in-Chief of America's Test Kitchen Kids, and today we have something

very special for you.

Today's episode will be a cook-a-long, and not just any cook-a-long.

Today we have a surprise cookie-cook-a-long.

Now, you might be wondering, don't we usually have an entire season?

Of episodes leading up to each grand finale cook-a-long?

And you aren't wrong, we normally do.

But this cook-a-long is a little different.

This cook-a-long isn't exactly an episode of Mystery Recipe,

though it will definitely sound a lot like one.

The cook-a-long we'll be hearing today is an audio extra we made for the brand new picture book,

Mitzi, the oven-mit, goes to school, a story about being brave.

We made this episode for the young chefs who just read about Mitzi's first day of school

at Miss Copperpots Academy for useful utensils.

If you read the book, then you'll know that there is a very special recipe for cookies,

and we wanted young chefs to be able to bake them along with Mitzi's help.

We thought it was so fun that all our mystery recipe listeners might like it, too.
