So without further ado, let's get into today's story.

On the morning of June 4th, 2010, Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon,

buzzed with excitement.

Seven-year-old Kyrin Horman proudly posed in front of his red-eyed tree frog science project,

grinning in his black CSI t-shirt, emblazoned with a green CSI logo and a neon-green handprint.

His stepmother, Terry Moulton-Horman, snapped a photo of the adorable second grader, a photo

that would soon become

hauntingly famous. It was the last known image of Kyran, taken just before he vanished without a

trace inside his own school. By that afternoon, a routine school day had transformed into

every parent's nightmare. Kyrin never came home and a frantic search was underway.

Kyrin's disappearance shook Portland and soon drew national attention.
