We want to share an episode of a podcast called Real Good.

It's a show that started last year at the beginning of COVID to highlight nonprofits doing work on the

ground to help with the pandemic.

But the big message of that season was that most of the problems people are facing in COVID weren't new when it hit.

They're intersectional problems concerning race, class, gender, and a lot more.

The second season is out now, and it's broadening out a bit to focus on the people fighting systemic

issues COVID highlighted. I am proud to be sharing this awesome podcast that's

really making a difference. You're about to hear an episode of the

Here in the Twin Cities, in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd there was

conversation about what I like to call this six degrees of segregation these six

firm barriers to equality that continue to impact communities of color

particularly African Americans. Housing,

education, access to places of public accommodation. Jim Crow Justice, which is the

most intractable, it's what we, it's most visible.

Then we have voting rights, disenfranchisement,

and then unfair labor practices.
