Hello, Crime and Coffee listeners. I am Kelsey from A Trial by Podcast, and I'm here to tell you a story.

So when I spoke with Allison and Mike about what we wanted to do for this little collab episode, we decided that we would stick with the

crime and coffee couple theme and do a couple's theme. Talk about relationships and how love

can sometimes lead to true crime.

I think I started watching Forensic Files when I was not old enough for it to be appropriate for me to watch Forensic Files.

But I've always just found true crime so interesting.

And I've always felt these stories are important.

And they teach us a lot of lessons about how to protect ourselves

and our loved ones and also just about how to not take life for granted. And normally I'm telling

stories with my best friend Emily. I do the research on the cases, tell the stories and she's

kind of there to be the speaker for the

listeners to ask questions that maybe the listeners would be asking, or, you know, if I say

something that doesn't really make sense, she kind of stops me, she's like, whoa, whoa, whoa,

say that again in a different way, that sort of thing. So we always like to say, I bring the

stories and Emily brings the vibes. Now, unfortunately, Emily wasn't
