We recorded at a place called Starling Studios, which was Ringo Starr's house, and it was the house that John

Lennon and Yoko had owned from the video Imagine.

In fact, that piano was in the front room.

Wow.

And I went there, and now it's called Ringo owns it it and it's called Starling Studios.

And you record there.

There's cooks and waiters and partying.

It was incredible.

And Phil was there.

And I enjoyed his drumming.

I didn't know anything about him.

I didn't even know who he was.

And right away I figured out he was a star cat.

He was a well-known and well-liked guy.

And he was a talented rock drummer, but he was much more than a rock drummer.

You heard all of this other stuff.

And he had a, he was a left-handed drummer like Lenny White that played a right-handed

kit.

And I'd known Lenny for a year, so I kind of was like, wow, look this guy. And he played some very
