Flora is joined by Ryan from Rumor Flies and Brent from Hysteria 51 to discuss the classic Time Life book series Mysteries of the Unknown. A 33-book set detailing all kinds of Forteana and weird topics, Time Life’s Mysteries of the Unknown introduced high strangeness to countless individuals around the world. The boys get together to go over the books in the series, including highlights and influences from each. It’s a blast of all kinds of strange topics! You want ley lines? Boom. Madam Blavatsky? Pow. Plant sentience? Skadoosh. It’s a tour-de-force of Forteana and all this great book series has to offer. 0:26.4	Time Life hit a home run for themselves when they released a book series in 1987 called Mysteries of the Unknown.
0:34.3	This book series, which was sent in monthly installments for subscribers to Time Life books, was unknown to me until around 10 years ago when I picked one up at a used book fair.
0:45.8	And I've been trying to catch all these little Pokemon's ever since.
0:50.1	I refuse to buy the whole set all at once, mostly because by now I've already gotten
0:56.3	most all the books.
0:57.9	So that would be a waste of money.
1:00.0	But at least two colleagues do have the whole sets themselves and are familiar with these
1:06.9	books.
1:07.3	And I thought it would be fun to invite them on and discuss them.
