And today we're going to be going into how to create a

business plan for your blog so that it has the greatest chance of having success. Specifically,

we're going to be talking about 10 steps to building a solid business plan for your blog.

Now, I originally saw this article on Hobby to Hot and fell in love with their infographic.

Today, I'm going to go over the steps that they outline and kind of give you my opinion on each of these and how to use that for your blog.

So step one starts with remember that blogs don't make money.

Businesses do.

You wake up every morning to run a business, not a blog. You have to

remember that. Your blog is not a hobby. It needs to be a business. And for it to be a business,

you need to have a plan on how to make money from it. Now, part of that also means you need to

have a plan on how to spend your time every day

of the week. You need to spend a percentage of your time on content, on products, on promotion,

on networking, and on testing. You got to make sure that your site is testing optimally well,

shows up in the right browsers. You got to make
