0:05.0	Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

0:36.0	Now the seventh beatitude is,
0:38.0	Blessed are the peacemakers.
0:42.0	If we want peace, it begins with getting reconciled with God. There is no other way around
0:50.3	it. Pope Benedict writes,
0:53.5	peace begins with a fundamental decision
0:56.9	that St Paul passionately begs us to make

1:02.1	We beg you on behalf of Christ, he says, be reconciled to God.
1:08.8	Benedict goes on to say, enmity, that is the state of being an enemy of God, is the source of all that poisons
1:19.7	man. Overcoming this enmity is the basic condition for peace in the world.
1:27.0	Only the man who is reconciled with God can also be reconciled and in harmony with himself.
