Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be back in Kansas City,

praying with my wife Sandy and my son-in-law Nick. So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for, especially asking for the healing of

Margo through the intercession of Pauline Jericho,

for successful surgery for Little Olivia on September 20th,

and for the repose of the soul of Marie Bauer.

Now today we meditate on the sixth beattitude.

Blessed are the pure of heart,

for they shall see God.

Now Pope Benedict says that to be capable of seeing God,

the powers of our soul must be purified and reintegrated.

Now I don't know the statistics, but I can tell you a lot of people,

they don't know they even have a soul,

let alone what it is or how it's supposed to work.

They think they have a body in a brain,

just a bunch of chemical and electrical reactions

and maybe some spiritual component

that some call the soul. maybe some

call a soul,

but every person has a soul made in the image of God.
