Since that day, I've had nothing from the government, no employer.

And I must admit, when I did this, I thought, well, how am I going to live?

But by God's grace, as I'm speaking to you today, since 2011, I've had nothing from the government. I've had no employer. And I've never asked one penny off anybody. In the eyes of the world, like me and my wife might be poor because we don't have our own house and we don't have our own job, but we're rich in faith.

Welcome everybody. This is Simon Gilbo with Inspired and I've got a smile on my face because I've got a very inspiring guest again this week. I'm really excited. The whole point of this podcast is to

stir faith to tell stories of God breaking into people's lives, healing, brokenness, launching them

into his plans and purposes. And often, week by week, you know, as I introduce people, I've known

them 20 years, 30 years, whatever. This week, it's nine days. So I have known Daniel Shearer nine days.

So Daniel, I came across as I was with a posse of people on the streets of Bath, just going around talking and sharing our love for Jesus and seeing great response.

And we saw Daniel and he was out there doing the same. And he actually

came back. He got talking. We sort of acknowledged each other as we went about our business. And

then one of our couples, if you like, because we send them out two by two, he got talking to

Daniel and he welcomed him back. And what we do at the end of our session is we have a bit of a

debrief. And Daniel got to share some of his story and I was,

he only talked about five minutes, but he completely stirred my faith and I thought, wow,

brilliant. So we hooked up again, then he's been for supper, he stayed the night at our place.

I've introduced him to a few of the leaders in the city and I just thought, wouldn't it be

brilliant? Again, just to hear more

of his background of how the Lord has led him into doing what he's done. Each week we get stories

from such a wide spectrum of people in different jobs and professions. And so you're in for a
