with fantastic news of stirring and inspiring faith. And so I'm thrilled that this week we've got an

old mate called Richard Gamble. Hi Richard. Hello there. Richard, in terms of our connections,

we're trying to work out how long we haven't seen Sheldman Flesh. It's over 15 years since your

brother's wedding. But your wife, Sarah, is also a sister to Libby. And Libby was out there

in Brindy with us and my wife Lizzie was in

your church all those years ago so that's kind of all our different connections but listen

Richard you are your massive 17 year journey and project that we want to sort of focus on

this week is the eternal wall of answered prayer but before we get there why don't you

just give us a bit of

context to that, what has come later in terms of your faith journey and your childhood. So go for

it. Yeah, sure. So background is not brought up with Christian parents, 11 years old. I overheard

them talking that my mum may have cancer, and so I went into my bedroom,

prayed for my mom as best as I knew how, and just felt the presence of God in the room

with me and God telling me it's going to be okay, which it was. And so from that point at 11,

always believe God existed.

Right. But it was another nine years until somebody shared the gospel with me at the age of 20.
