| 0:00.0 | This is the Guardian. At the center of our galaxy is one of the strangest objects in existence. |
| 0:20.0 | A black hole is usually a place in space where no light exists making it all but impossible to capture on film. |
| 0:27.0 | Despite this, a team of astrophysicists have managed to photograph a black hole in our galaxy, the Milky Way, for the first time. |
| 0:34.0 | And when physicists try to work out what will eventually happen to it and other black holes, |
| 0:40.0 | things get even weirder. |
| 0:42.0 | The older the black hole, the longer it is, |
| 0:45.0 | which you wouldn't guess from the outside, |
| 0:48.0 | because for the outside you have just a little sphere. |
| 0:50.0 | So you are in a sort of prison, everything shrinks around you and you get squeezed. |
| 0:58.0 | You find yourself in a region where, and this is the point, where we don't know. |
| 1:03.0 | There are lots of theories, |

| 1:12.0 | that's a white hole. |
| 1:13.0 | Physicist Carlo Ravelli has been thinking about the possibility of black holes |
| 1:18.0 | eventually rebounding into white holes for years. |
| 1:21.0 | How could they be born? I mean who put the matter inside for them to come out? |
| 1:25.4 | So for this reason they've long been considered the possible theoretical things but |
| 1:31.0 | not realized in nature, which is exactly how black holes were |
| 1:34.3 | considering the past. Now in a new book he proposes that in fact not only could |
| 1:39.7 | white holes exist but they might explain one of the deepest and most confounding mysteries in the universe. |
