Hey, welcome to another episode of the Waste No Day podcast, your host, Nate, and just Nate today. That's right. Brian is off. I'll get to that in just a minute, but he's not able to join us for this intro. He will be with us later for the interview that we have coming up. And that's with our main guest today. That is Gene Slade. We're going to have a great conversation with him today to talk

about none other than in home sales, baby. It's going to be good stuff. And we're going to turn to

myself for the quote because Brian's not here. And so this is a short one. It's by Babe Ruth. And it just

says, yesterday's home runs don't win today's games. And it's a constant reminder that no matter what we are doing,

we always have to improve. We can't rest upon the laurels of yesterday. We have to always be

pushing forward and reclaiming today and whatever the events or the objections that are going to

come our way. It's going to be a great show. Looking forward to it. And because of that,

we're not to spend a whole lot of time in the intro here. I do want to just pause here and explain why Brian is not joining us. For reasons unbeknownst to everybody in the world, despite moving to Arizona with a climate of 125 degrees Fahrenheit, he is caught in a snowstorm and cannot join us for this introduction.

That's right. A snowstorm. It boggles the mind why one would move to the desert where literally

plastic trash cans melt and yet somehow still managed to find himself stuck in a snowstorm.
