It was born during the pandemic when I asked Dr. Graycar if I could press record on the discussion we were having about Ida B. Wells.

And what it has grown to is a community of people who are committed to reading and talking about and thinking about liberation through the lens of Africana studies and Africana ways of knowing.

And this discussion we had because Dr. Graycar, I asked him about this book, you know, blood in my eye, and I had downloaded it and I was reading it.
