I am sitting down today with the man himself, Mr. Jason Lowry.

Jason, you have been quite the new celebrity in the sphere of Bitcoin Twitter.

By way of introduction, Jason is an officer in the U.S. Space Force. He's an astronautical engineer,

and he's studying national strategic implications of Bitcoin at MIT.

I'm a huge fan boy.

I've been following your writing since well before the number zero.

Big fan.

Thank you so much, dude. i'm really honored and i it's just unreal or surreal to me to see that writing kind of percolating up into the thinking of others um you know

yourself included because i'm just i'm so impressed with the way you look at Bitcoin.

And you've what started for me with this energetic perspective on Bitcoin and speaking with Sailor in our initial series, you've taken that to like another level.

So that was one level of my mind being blown and this feels like kind of the compounding effect of that.

So I'm really excited to talk with you. Um, and, you know, as is the nature of this show, we're going to try to go, try to go deep, get down to some conceptual bedrock first principles, whatever you want to call it.

So maybe, you know, I would like, I think the purpose of this particular conversation is just to try to lay some groundwork because we're going to be talking about a lot of abstract concepts and, you know, alternative views of a future on in a Bitcoin world.

So I think it's really important to get definitions square to build that.

So as I've seen you offline, it's my understanding that your thesis is really embedded in physics. You're

really coming from the ultimate first principles of physical reality insofar as humans

currently understand them. Maybe I can just turn it over to you to explain that a little

bit, unpack why you're doing that, and the floor is yours.

Sure. So what is physics? Physics is trying to understand the structure of how the universe works.
