I'm the host Scott Feinberg and on this Emmys episode I am so pleased to welcome as

my guest one of the funniest people in the world, somebody who makes me laugh as hard as anyone,

Billy Eichner.

The 37-year-old New Yorker is perhaps best known for his recurring guest appearances

on the dearly departed show Parks and Recreation, but this year he is in the running for

Emmy nominations for two other TV programs.

The first is the scripted comedy series Difficult People which airs on Hulu and is now in its second season.

The second, and I must say a personal favorite, is Billy on the Street, a variety sketch series in its fourth season, now airing on True TV.

For Billy on the Street, a show in which Eichner accost people on the streets of New York with hilarious questions, comments, and games.

He has previously been nominated for a daytime Emmy for Best Game Show.

Then last year, with a primetime Emmy nomination for Best Short Format Live Action Entertainment Program for a special episode that he taped with the First Lady Michelle Obama.
