Okay. Last night, we had President Biden deliver the state of the Union address as war raged in Ukraine.

And he said the United States and NATO stand with the people of Ukraine.

But reiterated that that commitment does not include U.S. boots on the ground and does not include a no-fly zone. So I'm happy today to be joined by

Bill Hemmer, co-anchor of America's Newsroom and just really all across the whole channel, doing a fantastic

job, as I said, of taking us through the maps and helping us all understand

better the geography of Ukraine and where it stands. So, Bill, I guess the first thing I wanted

to ask you is your thoughts on the speech last night. I kind of agree with a lot of the

assessments so far. It was a speech in two parts. The first part, 12 to 50

minutes on Ukraine, I thought it was well thought out. I thought it was thoughtful and I thought it was

rather forceful. But the back half of the speech lost it for me. I don't think it's going to be

that memorable. You know, Martha, on our program this morning, three guests at three different times

mentioned the same historical statements, unprovoked by Dana and me.

And that was 1998 when Bill Clinton came out and said the Arab big government's over. And he did

it for a reason because he was he was fighting for his political life. And Newt Gingrich told a great

story about that. You know, he was under so much pressure to do something to change the course of

his administration. And that statement has been captured in history. I think you'd agree with that, too.
