It's just that we've been so inundated with these hero stories,

lionizing his great giving and the millions of lives he saved.

But if you actually take any time to look at the Gates Foundation's work,

in many places you'll see it's actually doing more harm than good.

Now, before we get into talking about this episode, I just want to say, I'm sure that some of you will be expecting a comment on the United

States and Israel's most recent bombings in Iran. And obviously, I think that this is ridiculous

and just further cements the point that the United States is a rogue actor and that we really need to be getting

off of its tech products, its tech companies, and just isolating it more generally so that it can't

keep doing these sorts of things. I really don't have a lot more to add. I would direct you back to

the episode that I recorded for January 15th called Reimagining Our Relationship with Digital

Tech, where I gave my thoughts more broadly about the world that we're seeing at the moment

and how we should be responding to it and why the United States' actions and violations of

international law should be propelling us to do something very different as quickly as possible.
