Romans 11:13-16 - Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry 14 in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them. 15 For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead? 16 If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

0:50.3	telling us that it is not over for Israel. God still has a plan for
0:55.2	Israel. What I love about the passage we're going to look at today, this is
0:58.1	Romans 11, 13 through 16, is that Paul is pointing out for us that what God is doing is often much bigger than we know. It's much
1:08.8	broader, much more grand. I remember one time hearing John Piper say something to this effect that
1:15.7	God is doing thousands of things in your life at any given moment and you may be aware of three of them.
1:23.4	Have you ever felt that way that everything going on you just can't tell what it is and yet you see that
1:29.9	surely God is at work and And I'm just so excited, so encouraged when I hear that
1:36.4	and when I think of that.
1:37.8	In this passage reminds us of that.
1:40.4	Now Paul is talking to us as Gentiles, those who are not of Jewish descent, saying that we have been brought into the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
