Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. Hope you're ready

to get your minds align with the truth of God and I want to stop for a moment and

ask you to do me a favor and more than that do a favor for someone you love

if there's someone you have in mind who could benefit from the morning mindset

would you prayerfully consider who that might be?

Pause this recording and share the morning mindset with them. However you feel is

best that might be through a text or an email or on social media reach out to that

person tell them the benefits you've received from the morning mindset and

encourage them to listen my friends that is how the gospel spreads.

This is not about some grand platform.

This is about God's word going out to the people you love to make an

eternal difference in their lives. Now today we need to talk about something just very personal and very real that I want you to prepare your heart for.

And it's this idea of what I'm thinking of as an arrogant beggar. You don't see people begging on a street

corner who appear arrogant. They're not bragging, they're not boasting, they're not

typically have this attitude like they have one up on you in some

way a beggar typically is very destitute very broken very sad sometimes.

And we as believers in Jesus Christ

have sometimes been described as beggars

who are telling other beggars where to find bread.

But if you were to see that first beggar being very arrogant because he got the bread,
