| 0:16.0 | This week is January 26th through February 1st, and we are studying Genesis chapter 5 and Moses chapter 6. |
| 0:26.2 | Now, if you just want to flip through these two chapters real quick and look at them, you might |
| 0:31.7 | look at Genesis 5 and think, why are we studying this chapter all on its own? Because if you look at it, it's 32 verses, but they're really short verses. And it's almost entirely a genealogy chapter. One of those like, this person begat so and so, and then they begat so and so. |
| 0:55.2 | So you read Genesis 5 and you're like, this, why is this getting so much emphasis? |
| 1:00.6 | And then you transition over to Moses 6 and that's going to give you the answer. |
| 1:05.5 | So they are companion chapters, meaning that Moses 6 starts similarly with listing all the family |

| 1:16.6 | But here's where Moses chapter 6 is different. |

| 1:56.9 | him, whereas we get two full weeks of content about Enick. So I'm excited to dive into the |
| 2:02.2 | first half of Enoch's story this week. It really is a doctrine-rich chapter because we're learning |
| 2:13.0 | Enoch's story, but we're also learning what Enoch taught when he went to cry repentance to the |
| 2:20.4 | people. And as Enoch teaches, we actually learn a bunch of stuff about history, about what |
