My name is Callie Black here with all the context you need to totally rock this week's Come Follow Me readings.

This week is March 2nd through the 8th, and we are studying Genesis chapters 24 through 33.

We have spent the past couple of weeks learning about Abraham and Sarah.

And in this week's readings, we're going to move on to the next two generations.

We're going to go through two more generations here after Abraham and Sarah. Remember that this part of Genesis is focused on patriarchs and matriarchs. So the storyline is following the specific family's lineage in order to show that God keeps his promises, especially this week. I think this is a

great time to look for the theme of God keeping his promises with every single generation.

So just keep that in mind in general in Genesis, but this week is a good one for that overall

theme. So let's start with the next generation after Abraham and Sarah.

Remember, we learned that Sarah died at the end of last week's reading. Isaac. Isaac is the son that

Sarah miraculously had in her old age and is the firstborn son that's inheriting the birthright from
