All right, guys, we're back. Cliffhanger, I don't know that we've ever had a cliffhanger episode.

I will tell you, I was told last episode was maybe the greatest podcast episode I've ever done. And I accept that. Very little had to do with Chris. That's not true. Some had to do with Chris. I was a passenger. A lot of Uncle Russ fans of that card show. Good grief. The amount of people came up and were like, hey, met your uncle. That was wild at the National Card Show this weekend. Yeah, Chris Thomas is back,

former teacher.

I'm sorry, what was that? There was a word you threw in there. Trust me. A qualifier. The theft of your identity was just the beginning of this. We're also docksing you at work. Oh, wow. This is all an SCE employ. It's all coming out. Yep, it's all coming out. I'm back on the couch. The therapy session continues. That's right. We're picking up. You were back. That's right.

Session number two. So we gave, if you hadn't listened to Thursday's episode, you're a scumbag. You should absolutely listen. If you haven't yet, I don't know what your problem is. Thursday, we had Chris on, add-a-boy cards, Chris Thomas. We talked about kind of his journey in cards, getting back, the business being built, this thing's starting to really take off.

And I think we kind of left it there of like, hey, almost what next type of scenario.

That's the best I recollect.

And I also want to echo just thank you to everyone who reached out.

I love how many people that reached out and were able to relate to some of the things I was sharing it. Like that was just the goal of this conversation. Mike reached out to me and was like,

hey, let's just share what's going on because I think there are a lot of people who will

identify with that. And so I remember in the last pod, Mike, we talked about the past and the

present. And so now I'm kind of thinking about the future.

Like, I'll just try to give you a little glimpse into the way I'm thinking about it. Again, I

mentioned like, I love teaching. It's something I've been doing for a long time. And I'm blessed at

the moment to be in a position where I can choose, I choose to teach, not because I want to, not because I

have to. Yep. And so I think, you know, I'm pretty risk-averse. Like, I'd like to say that, you know, I mean, I'd love going to Las Vegas, but like, I'm more, you know, betting on the, the cheap $10 blackjack tables than the high roller roulette stuff. So I think for me going forward,

I need to prove this to myself, prove that this is not a fluke. Like I'm an optimist, but I'm also a realist. And I'm like, sure. It's a big chance. It's a major, major life decision. Right. It's a major life decision. And, you know, I do try to think about, like making a decision like this, it's not like it can't be undone. Like very few decisions that you make are not ones that are, you know, they're not

irreversible. This is a reversible decision. Like, could I get my actual job back if I left? Probably

not. But could I go back to teaching if I decided I wanted to do that? Of course. So,

knowing that, like, it gives me a little bit of a runway to, to, like, okay, well, let me try

...
